'A town caught still in a timeless charm' – John Betjeman

'Delightful. A real gem. Beautifully preserved' – Jill Archer

MapSidmouth is a small Regency seaside town on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast in East Devon, between Exmouth and Lyme Regis, surrounded by red sandstone cliffs and the green hills of the Sid Valley. As well as the Festival there are beaches to lie on, rock pools to explore and the sea to swim in. Most visitors have great intentions of venturing further afield, but few actually get round to it!

Nearest railway stations are at Exeter and Honiton and there are frequent bus services from both.
